Reframe the Anxious Brain

Online Course

Ready to Navigate Anxiety like a Boss?

(A boss who rolls with the punches, doesn’t get bogged down by shifting winds, recalibrates and comes out on top?)

This online program will give you the big O—Onward. Because it’s time to look inward and move onward…regardless of what life throws your way.

Truth: Anxiety can royally suck.

  • Overthinking, and obsessing over situations, people or events
  • Feeling wired and tied, and having trouble sleeping
  • Feeling agitated and on edge all the time
  • Easily overwhelmed, and panicked
  • Stressed more days than not, and worried about being worried.
  • Overworking, and having difficulty sitting still and enjoying yourself
  • Overly worried about rejection, and how others perceive you in social settings

What’s more exhausting than reading it,

you’re living it.

You are working hard to achieve your goals, be the mom to your family and support everyone around you. But what keeps getting in the way is anxiety.

No matter how hard you try to...

  • Calm down
  • Stay focused
  • Be present
  • Feel good

Anxiety shows up, steals the show, and derails your day.

You’ve tried breathing, you’ve tried reading the self-help books, but it all leads back to the same anxiety pit.

And that’s hard. Really, really hard. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Anxiety CAN BE MANAGED.

  1. When we learn how to train our brains to think differently, we have an opportunity for reducing the amount of time we spend on anxious thoughts

  2. When we learn how to respond to our emotions differently, we have an opportunity to offer ourselves support in anxious moments

  3. When we learn how to support our stressed out, anxious bodies, we have an opportunity for more rest, and less stress in our day

You can change your relationship with anxiety, implement skills, and rewire how you do life… regardless of how stressful and anxiety provoking things get.

Anxiety is an internal job.

Many people think the trick to managing anxiety, is just breathing, using stress balls, or thinking positive. And, sure… that may help in the moment. But it will do little to create sustainable change, so we don’t get to a place of panic and overwhelm in the first place.

We have to change our internal responses to anxiety in order to manage it healthy ways.

So, what if we reframed our thoughts, managed our emotions, handled our relationships, and took care of our anxious, stressed out bodies and completely flip the script on anxiety and learned how to move forward in empowered ways?

Imagine a life where you…

  • don’t get anxious every time you want to set a boundary
  • know how to respond to your emotions in healthy ways
  • could reframe negative thoughts, and create healthy, supportive ones
  • established a self-care routine that worked, and prevented burnout
  • cultivated relationships that feel healthy, supportive and loving

It all begins and ends with you, and I can show you how.

Reframe the Anxious Brain is all about changing the way you relate to anxiety as a lifestyle practice. So, when anxiety pops up, you know what to do. By learning new skills and strategies that will help with moving forward—and not just slogging forward, but doing so with exciting epiphanies and aha moments, and sustainable action.

As a psychotherapist, for nearly a decade, mental health educator and host to popular podcast: Mental Health Remix, I’ve come to find there are three areas that create the most anxiety for us as humans:

  1.   Our minds
  2.   Our emotions
  3.   Our relationships

Now, while these three seem independent of one another – they are not.

In fact, they play off each other in powerful ways, and can create a cumulative stress response in our brains and bodies. When the nervous system is overwhelmed and stressed, we don’t tend do as well in these three areas. We may feel the effects of stress physically, mentally and emotionally.

In this program, we get to the root. Not the surface.

I am going to teach you how to support yourself through anxiety by:

  • Reframing your thoughts
  • Responding differently to your emotions
  • Reacting differently when anxiety show up
  • Relating differently to people, and things that stress you out, making you anxious
  • Reconnect with the fun parts of yourself that feel healthy, strong and whole (yes, they’re in there!)

It’s based on the power of science and psychology, and my clinical experience as a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and anxiety disorders.

In a nutshell, it covers:

  •   How to implement boundaries and communicate your needs,
  •   Helpful stress-reduction activities,
  •   Ways to brush up on time management (hello, routine!)
  •   Coping skills for anxiety and the urge to “get it right” all the time,
  •   How to be effective, without being perfect,
  •   Methods for creating the path for NEW things to come,
  •   How to keep a clear mind, and decision-making skills
  •   How to know your support system and eliminate people who increase your stress
